Rulers die, kingdoms fall, stars run dry, languages evolve away from their roots, stories finish, children grow up...
All things must end.
She knows this better than most.
Still, she finds it hard to believe as she watches Neo-Queen Serenity - Usagi - breathe her last breath.
All mortals die.
But that thought in conjunction with "Usagi" makes no sense. Usagi should still be here! Her Princess, her Queen had cheated Death before!
She waits an unknowable amount of time, expecting at any moment Usagi will sit up and be fine...
Finally, the truth sinks in.
All things end, even thousands of years of friendship.
Sailor Pluto buries her head in her hands and weeps.
