“You’ll never believe what happened to me yesterday.
I met Kaitou KID! Sqweee!
I know I wasn’t at the heist. Mom made me take my cousins to the zoo instead. Said I shouldn’t take them to the heist, even if it was like a magic show.
Apparently Nakamori-keibu’s language doesn’t meet with parental approval. Even if it can be.... educational.
Go on with the story? Ok, so I’m taking my cousins around the zoo when people start screaming and rushing towards us. In all the confusion, I get separated from Yuki and Ame. I’m not too worried about them, though.
Why? Oh, Yuki’s only a year younger than us and VERY protective of his little sister.
Yeah, the zoo was a dumb idea, but what can you do?
Anyway, I get separated from Yuki and Ame by the crowd and the next thing I know, I’m standing in an empty path by the American animals. And by empty, I mean there’s not another person within sight or earshot. That’s when I find out what everyone’s running from.
An elephant.
I’m not kidding!
Really!
Well, if you’re going to be like that, I’m not going to tell you what happened.
Make it two scoops and you have a deal. So where was I?
Thank you, Miss Skeptic. The elephant. Somehow an elephant escaped from its habitat and was running around the zoo. And I was right in its path.
Uhh.... I uh... kinda... froze in shock when I saw the elephant thundering for me. It’s just about to squash me when HE appeared. The moonlight phantom, Kaitou KID 1412 himself. He removed that AWESOME cape from his shoulders - he’s got an incredible butt, by the way - and tosses it so it floats onto the elephant’s back. Then KID makes this gesture with one of those elegant hands....
Don’t be so hentai! While I might agree with you, we’re in a public place and I don’t want to get banned from THIS coffee shop.

Anyway, KID does this twisting gesture with one of his elegant, white gloved hands and a cloud of smoke envelopes the elephant. When the smoke clears, I see something I’d never thought possible.
The elephant is SITTING in KID’s hand. Comfortably! He shrank it! Then he turns to me, still holding the shrunken elephant, and tells me that he’d feel better if he knew I was safely out of the zoo.
I managed to get a picture of him and the elephant as he’s heading towards the African section of the zoo. See?
Someday I’m going to marry that man....

Nakamori-san, I think you should tell your friend Kuroba-san that it’s impolite to eavesdrop on other people’s conversations.
