1. Megatron always has that crest from Megatron: Origins in my stories. It functions as another sensor array and is usually muted and covered to keep it from being exploited as a weakness.
2. Megatron speaks two distinct versions of Cybertronian - the "general" language most of the population speaks (he has a middle-lower upper class accent) and the harsher, curse-laden dialect of the mines and arenas.
3. He's an avid reader. He has read major works from every culture the Decepticons have ever come in contact with, including Earth's.
4. He really doesn't want to win the war, because doing so will destroy his greatest challenge - Optimus Prime.
5. Megatron remembers and regrets killing Orion Pax. He thought Orion had potential to be something more than a dock worker.
*nods* Depending on the story, sometimes he does find out about Orion's fate.
Thanks. I think it makes sense, given some of the material he quoted in G1 and some of the other universes. He doesn't have the same cultural background as we humans, therefore he must have actually read the materials in order to make the reference.
(Also, understanding what a culture produces is a good way to understand the culture.)
1. He knows the answers to several major debates on the Ark, but refuses to tell anyone because the speculation keeps the troops from being bored.
2. He doesn't need actually throw wrenches anymore. As soon as he picks one up, the target starts quivering and apologizing.
3. He once laughed off one of Optimus' request, to find out later it was serious. He's never dismissed any of Optimus' requests for being "too silly" ever again.
4. Ratchet doesn't believe he's the "best medic ever sparked", despite what the Ark crew says.
5. He routinely swaps Cybertronian medical journals with Hook - with the consent of both faction leaders.
1. The real reason the Nemesis is underwater is to deter all the Starscream fan girls who would otherwise mob the place.
2. Starscream had nightmares from the "Highlander" movies ever since he found out he was immortal.
3. Starscream lost his and Skyfire's newspark (offspring) when he lost Skyfire to the ice.
4. Some of Starscream's issues are a result of not taking care of himself after the above trauma. The damage he did to himself didn't heal correctly and has never been fixed.
2. Optimus doesn't hate Megatron for what happened at Tyger Pax. Instead, he acknowledges that had the reality of the Decepticons and the war - and the meaning and origins of both - not intruded upon his life, he would never have become Prime.
3. Once a vorn, when the anniversary of Tyger Pax arrives, Optimus has a tradition of getting himself overcharged and reminiscing with Elita, Magnus, Trion, or Ironhide. If they're not available, Optimus withdraws from everyone, gets overcharged, and screams the worst docker dialect profanity he knows in his soundproofed quarters.
4. His tolerance of high grade fluctuates because of the Matrix of Leadership. His normal range is two to five cubes.
5. Optimus occasionally treats the crew of the Ark as his personal university, by learning whatever they're willing to teach. Despite this willingness to learn, Optimus still doubts his own intelligence when compared to others.
6. The Ark's pranksters have only ever pranked Optimus once. The prank Optimus played on in revenge, combined with the threat that he can do much worse to them with a little effort has kept Optimus, his rooms, and his possessions prank free.
1. Orion was a trouble-maker when he was young, mostly because of the (harmless) pranks he played. A few mistakenly believed he was the best prankster in Tyger Pax. (He's the second best.)
2. Despite appearances, Arial and Orion haven't gone father in their relationship than kissing and some snuggling.
3. Orion can't sing - Optimus can. No one knows why this is.
4. When finding out how much it'd cost for Dion to get the high education courses he wanted, Orion decided to give up his own dreams and become a dock worker. Dion's decision to join him caused on of the largest fights between them.
5. Orion is stronger than his height and appearance would suggest. He can't carry things Optimus would be able to, but he's capable of taking the largest part of most loads a group of dockworkers has to move.
6. Orion often experience deja-vu, mostly with people. He knew Arial's name the first time he met her, before they were introduced. It bothers him, even though he hides it.
1. He can sneak up on every mech on the Ark, save two. If they're paying attention to their surroundings, Prowl and Prime are the two he can't surprise.
2. Jazz started most of the rumors about his origins and his visor. He figures that the more stories there are, the less likely anyone will believe the truth, if it gets out.
3. He'll only enter full recharge behind a door locked with his own specially made lock or Prowl is there.
4. He enjoys science fiction for the amusement factor. Mystery Science Theater 3000 is one of his favorites.
5. Jazz and Prowl are perfectly matched at chess. Jazz's more impulsive moves consistently destroys Prowl's long term plans. (Prowl suspects Jazz does it deliberately, but has no proof.)
Prowl:
1. Humanity causes him to glitch more than any other species. We're that crazy.
2. He has a sense of humor, he just doesn't show it around the "rank and file" members of the Autobots.
3. His larger chest area means he was designed to be the part of a relationship that produces a newspark.
4. His favorite movie is "Clue" because the movie is set up so that anyone could be the criminal.
5. Because of the sensitivity of his doorwings' sensor arrays, Prowl keeps them in mute whenever he is in vehicle form.
