Vacation: Day 1

Today, we traveled for about eight hours to Fayetteville, North Carolina. It's about three hours from where we're planning to stay at for the rest of the week.

Although it's been raining off and on for most the drive, I have high hopes for week itself being sunny and clear.

The drive was long, and made longer by the dog deciding to camp out on me for several hours. Fortunately, I did manage to get some writing done.

Glad to hear your trip is going well (despite the doggie in your lap) and that you got some writing done - may that be just the tip of what's in store for the rest of the week? *grins*

It's only been a day and I miss chatting already - and wouldn't you know that today's the day all these bunnies bit? *sighs* Ah well, I'll have to write them down and send them in an email or something. :)
