The Lost Colony was canceled tonight on account of the weather. There were several lighting strikes in the area and heavier rain headed towards the outdoor theater. The house manager didn't want to risk the audience or the cast by continuing the show in those conditions.

So, we're going to try to go to show again tomorrow.

Here's hoping we have better weather.


(PS: I hate the movie Nights in Rodanthe. I wish they'd turn it off.)

I've seen that show! Many years ago, when my cousins lived in Virginia Beach, and we took an evening trip down to the Outer Banks and walked on the dunes and such. It was kind of interesting, really.

*laughs* I agree.

The last time I saw the play was 14 years ago, so it's interesting to see what's changed. For example, the benches were replaced with actual seats and the walk to the theater has actors in costume along it. (Pictures of the juggler will be up after we get home, as someone didn't bring the memory card reader...)

Yay for fun pictures of an kinda cheesy historical play! It does make me happy that someone else has seen that show, though.
